We believe in the triune God, who alone holds the Godhead

1)      We believe in the Triune God, who alone holds the Godhead. We believe that He is the one and the same from ages past until ages future. He never changes, and there is no shadow of turning or variance with Him. We believe that this Godhead is constituted by God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is Spirit, He is love, He is life, and He is light.

2)      We believe that God became man, incarnated as Jesus, sent to be the propitiation of our sins to bear our sins away and bring us to the Father for holy service as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. This man Jesus is truly God and truly man, incarnated in the womb of a virgin by the Holy Spirit. This man lived a perfect, sinless life and expressed all of the attributes and power of God through his perfect humanity. This man was put to death, the death of a cross. After 6 hours, he was taken down and buried for 3 days. On the third day, He resurrected from the dead and showed Himself to the disciples. After this, Jesus Christ ascended into the heavens to sit at the right hand of God entering into His heavenly ministry, and we now await his coming back a second time. This second coming will bring in God’s righteous Kingdom, and all will be judged starting with the household of God. We declare Jesus to be the Christ, and recognize and confess Him as the true Son of God.

3)      We believe that this Man Jesus Christ became the life giving Spirit, the Spirit who is breathed into every regenerated, born-again believer. He lives in them and uniquely leads every child of God. This Spirit is the Comforter who Jesus talked about in the gospel of John, and He is God who is with us unto the very end of this age. He brings all things that is of Christ to us, and teaches every one, from the smallest to the greatest. He is also the pledge of our inheritance, which is incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading. The Spirit is not a feeling or a force or a power; He is a person of the Godhead, and we walk by the Spirit, are led by the Spirit, and grow according to the Spirit of Christ who indwells us.

4)      We believe that the canonized Holy Bible, from Genesis to Malachi (constituting the Old Testament), and from Matthew to Revelation (constituting the New Testament), is the infallible Word of God. Scripture is God-breathed and it is applicable to all generations. It is sufficient to teach, exhort, rebuke, and admonish. We believe that the Bible came to be because God moved holy men along by the Holy Spirit to write down things that pertain to Christ, who is the fulfillment and reality of all prophecy and types. The truths in the Bible are unalterable, and we must allow the Lord within us to adjust our person to come under the truth, rather than adulterating the truth to fit us.

5)      We believe that the sins denoted in scripture are truly sin, no matter what the age of this world says about it. We are all born under sin, and our flesh is always subject to the power of sin. Sin is also anything that is not of faith. The deeds of the flesh are described in scripture, ranging from homosexuality and adultery to liars and disobedience to parents.

6)      We believe that Jesus Christ came to save mankind (men, women, children), and that salvation is receivable by all according to genuine faith that is exercised in the heart of each person. This salvation by faith is of grace, not works, so that no one can boast. Humanity is in desperate need of God’s life to come in, as we are all sinners every one of us. This salvation, once received, is eternal; we cannot lose it. We believe that there is eternal perdition and eternal life. It is our mission to bring the eternal life of the Son of God to every person and to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as we can. We believe that the gospel is the power of God for salvation.

7)      Every regenerated believer is saved not just individually, but he/she is brought into the universal Body of Christ, which is the Church. This Church is the New Creation, and it is also the one New Man created in Christ Jesus. The Church is the Body of Christ (who is the unique Head), and the Holy Spirit fills all who are in this body. The Church is the masterpiece of God, created in Christ Jesus for good works. This Church is to be built up through ministry and perfected, until Christ comes back and marries the Church as His Bride.

8)      We believe that the Christian life is one of godliness and action, and cannot be separated from works. These works are what demonstrate the activity of God Himself within us, and show the church to be the shining light that she is. Just as there are many members, so also there are many gifts, portions, and functions, given by the Holy Spirit Himself.  The function of the members is according to the measure that has been given to each one, and we as Christians are meant to build each other up through love according to our measure of grace.

9)      In our fellowship among ourselves and among other believers, we strive to maintain the Oneness of the Spirit in the uniting bond of peace. We believe there is one body, one Spirit, and we were called in one hope of our calling. We have one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and we have one God and Father of all, who is over all, through all, and in all.
